Matchmakers need not apply when a pair of faux relationships becomes true love. Millie has a mother who keeps setting her up on disastrous blind dates; David is being stalked by an amorous former patient. The solution? A fake romance where no one gets nagged, and no one gets hurt. Until they start to care. Violet hires a matchmaker so she’s sure to have a date for her little sister’s wedding. But her match just happens to be an old college classmate, one she didn’t like then and doesn’t like now. Maybe he’ll do. . .it’s just one night.
