Store description
Literature & Curiosities from the City of Jules Verne Bonjour and Welcome to Liam's Books. Based in the vibrant city of Nantes, France—the historic capital of Brittany and the birthplace of Jules Verne—we are an independent bookseller with a passion for the printed word. THE COLLECTION Our inventory is a carefully curated selection of French and English titles. Living in a city known for its history of innovation and voyage, we specialize in finding books that travel well. From vintage French paperbacks ("Livres de Poche") and European comics ("Bandes Dessinées") to modern fiction, art books, and hard-to-find English editions, our goal is to put the right book in the right hands. WHY BUY FROM US? We are building this store as a legacy project, which means we take our reputation seriously. Honest & Strict Grading: We know the disappointment of buying a "Very Good" book and receiving one with a broken spine. We grade conservatively. If a book has flaws, we list them. You will never receive a surprise. Protective Packaging: We treat every book as a collectible. Your order is wrapped in moisture-resistant material and secured in rigid cardboard packaging. We do not use flimsy mailers that allow corners to get bumped during transit. Fast International Dispatch: Located in a major logistics hub in Western France, we process and ship orders within 2 business days. SHIPPING NOTE We are experts in shipping from France to the world. Whether you are in the USA, UK, Japan, or Europe, we utilize reliable carriers to ensure your book arrives safely and economically. Thank you for visiting our shop and supporting an independent family business. Bonne lecture from Nantes! — Liam's Books…
