In overall good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - original paper-covered boards, with black cloth spine, generally rubbed and corners worn, title label to spine is tanned with a couple of small chips to edges. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotation - author's gift inscription to Rev. R. Hawes to front pastedown dated 1843; rough-trimmed page-ends have darkened but text and equations bright and clear throughout. Retains the five fold-out plates to the rear. Not an old library book.
