Mathematics Notebook, U.S.A., 1840s/1850s. Eliza A. Bayer (Philadelphia) ca 1840-1850, 21x16cm, ca. 150 pp of manuscript notation. Beautifully written, with several dozen large headers. Lovely work by a young woman presumably of Philadelpha and about whom I can find almost nothing, I'm sorry to say--no clues in the very few scribbles in the notebook. Bound in calf-backed boards, well worn but serviable. Good binding, VG text.
