About the Author

Steve Higgins is a senior lecturer in primary education at Newcastle University. Previously a primary school teacher, he is a member of the Thinking Skills Research Centre and has contributed to the development of the DfES Thinking Skills website. Steve has written numerous books and articles on thinking skills approaches in primary schools.
