Synopsis
Created to build self-esteem, self-awareness, courage, and confidence for all children to be who they were meant to be. There is no limit on what they can truly achieve.
For young African American boys (before they reach their teenage years and manhood) to embrace their African heritage with courage and confidence as the Kings they were born to be and to enhance their American culture with Presidential status to be all that they were destined to be.
Instead of being the African King that he was born to be, Robert walks around with his pants hanging down, sagging and bagging all over town. Although being a king does not always mean being an actual king but having the courage and confidence to be who you truly are.
Through a series of poetry and a metaphor of fun and exciting examples of great African American leaders, and his amazing father Robert discovers who and what he can truly be, from the President of the United States running the country, a teacher who can teach and preach all at the same time, a skydiver experiencing the blue skies to anything his heart desires. And most of all pulling up his pants and being the king, he was born to be, having the ability and confidence to be who he truly is.
