Depending on how one chooses to view it, this aptly named book is either a potpourri of strange and wonderful ideas or a collection of far-fetched suppositions. The text consists of interviews with 17 men and women, among them Timothy Leary, John Lilly, Allen Ginsberg, and Laura Huxley. These conversations cover such diverse topics as communication with dolphins, lucid dreaming, chaos theory, cybernetics, psychedelic consciousness, physics, and time travel.
