Max and Emma Discover the Meaning of Manna (Hardback or Cased Book)

What did manna taste like? Max and Emma travel back in time for a taste test with ancient Israelites!

Emma is so excited for Sukkot and the "sukkah hop," until she realizes that the entire congregation will be visiting her family's sukkah. While Max and Eitan discuss the ways to decorate the temporary hut, Emma worries about her creative talents and becomes more and more nervous.

Luckily, in learning the history of the Israelites journeying through the desert, the friends hear about manna, a food given by God to feed the Jews on their journey. To find out what it really tasted like, the trio jump in Max's time machine and travel back to the Israelite's camp where they meet Bezalel, the chief artisan, and Miriam, Moses' sister.

Together, they learn the importance of creativity and having the self-confidence to try even in the face of fear--and Emma discovers a creative spirit she didn't know she had!

Filled with charming full-color illustrations, this is the fourth book in the much-loved Torah Time Travel chapter book series for younger readers featuring friends Eitan, Max, and Emma. Perfect for fans of adventure, history, and friendship stories.
