Original maroon leather over flexible boards with gilt lettering. Leather is split along both edges of spine. Top 1/2" of spine leather missing. White cloth label with title of book applied to spine by another party. Front cover pulling away from text block. Front free endpaper missing, and title page nearly separated. This book covers geography and history of the provinces and their cities; location of towns, villages and hamlets; barristers, hotels, express offices and banks. Lots of vintage advertising.
