The cover has blue cloth. Most of the illustrations are small, b/w photos. The pages are tanned and have a moderate, old paper odor. Seven page margins each have a 1/4 in. closed tear. The spine strip is a little faded in an uneven fashion; its top and bottom edges are a little rubbed and wrinkled; some of the letters in the publisher's name are not legible. DJ: The spine panel has darkened in an uneven fashion, has a vertical water stain, and is chipped on each end. The end of a fold has a 3/8 in. chip; another end has a 7/8 in. closed tear.
