Linguists honor Michael Halliday, with papers organized in relation to sections of his An Introduction to Functional Grammar , applying his principles to languages other than English. Part I contains sections on textual, interpersonal, and experiential meaning and form. Part II looks at time and tense, and lexis and the nominal group. About the Authors
Robin P. Fawcett is Research Professor in Linguistics and Director of the Computational Linguistics Unit at the Cardiff School of English, Communication and Philosophy, Cardiff University.
Guowen Huang is Professor at City University of Macau, Macau SAR, China. He is the Honorary Chair of CAoE and the regional representative of IEA. His recent research interests include discourse analysis, functional linguistics, applied linguistics, ecolinguistics, and translation.
