Meant to Be

It hurt to look back and remember the one that got away. In Chimere’s defense, life’s circumstances caused her and the love of her life, to lose contact after high school; but distance didn’t mean anything when daydreams appeared and pulled at her heartstrings. She’d compared and endured a few others, but none could compare to Jaleel Madden. Their journeys couldn't fight fate; and Jaleel, being the first to take the necessary step, assisted their hearts with getting in touch. With so many unfortunate ties between the two, will Chimere and Jaleel receive the chance to turn their friendship into something more?
