The book, "Measurement of Gender Empowerment Equity and Development" was planned since I was offering courses at Ph.D. level. The book contains chapters like status of women, measurement of empowerment, equity and development, traits of women leadership, capacity building, adoption behaviour, communication behaviour and managerial ability which are core issues to ascertain the level of empowerment for which the entire nation is interested.
