The magazine was initially created for Meccano builders, but it soon became a general hobby magazine aimed at "boys of all ages". The first editor was Frank Hornby.This copy is a bound edition, containing issues 1-12 (Jan-Dec) of Vol XVII (1932). 1,020 pp, followed by colour copies of the 12 monthly covers. Hardback, dark brown / black covers; in good order, with stamped border design. Bands to spine, also label with gilt titling, thought this is incomplete, see photos. Minor scuffs and minor.
