Thomas H. Brown is the co-author of the Standard Handbook of Machine Design, 3rd Edition and the author of Mark's Calculations for Machine Design. His area of specialty is Stress Analysis and Machine Design. In 1995, Dr. Brown was approached by a major corporation in North Carolina to deliver a comprehensive program for the FE Review and the Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Nuclear Engineering PE Exams.
Thomas Hunter Brown, Jr., PhD, PE, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, North Carolina State Universtiy currently manages both the FE Review Program and the Civil Engineering PE Review Programs at ITRE, among other course development and teaching duties. Dr. Brown also teaches review classes for the Mechanical Engineering PE Review Program offered by the Industrial Extension Service of the College of Engineering at North Carolina State University.
