This EUROMECH-MECAMAT conference was jointly organized by the Dipartimento di Matematica dell'Universit� di Torino, Italy and the INPL Institute (LEMTA, Nancy-Universit�, France). Prof. Franco Pastrone and Prof. Jean-Fran�ois Ganghoffer were the co-chairmen.
