S Venkatraman is the former Head of Research with AMIC. He is currently Research Advisor/Consultant to AMIC and specialises in development and communication research, as well as cultural and social research. He holds an MA from Madras, Mphils from Madras and Cambridge, and a PhD from the London School of Economics.
