Medic! (Paperback)

Paperback. Medic! Part 1: World War Two is one of six standalone true tales about real Army medical personnel in each of the living wars. This is the story of Henry, who through a well-planned deception, enlists at the age of fifteen. His ruse lands him in one of the pivotal moments in history, and he continues across Europe to endure the most miserable winter in a century. Finally, after the Battle of the Bulge and the occupation of Germany, Henry returned home, but discovered he would never again be the cantankerous farm boy he once was.
