Health professionals are duty bound to maintain ethics of the profession and the law of the land . If the professionals do not preserve, the law and ethics and in not exercising such prudence and skill and the method of doing things as expected standard that the profession so requires, may cause economic loss, injury and above all death of individuals. This in turn, calls for civil and criminal liability.

Mr. Yeshigeta Mekuria earned his LL.B degree from St. Mary’s University and currently working as an attorney at law to the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation. He also holds his diploma in Pharmacy from Addis Ababa University, registered as an expert druggist and has twenty eight years of work experience in the field of pharmacy.
