About this Item

First edition of the play, based on the author's 1946 novel. There is very slight wear to the binding and shadows from some paper laid in previously on the front and rear endpapers. The dust jacket has a two inch tear and wrinkling on the bottom left of the rear panel, but very slight edgewear otherwise. In all, a very good copy. Included is a fair copy of the first printing (lacking the dj) of the novel from which this play is adapted.
