Meme and Big Red's Adventure

Meme and Big Red’s Adventure is a heartwarming, beautifully illustrated picture book and Book 3 in the Meme’s Farm series, inviting young readers back to Meme’s Farm for another unforgettable adventure inspired by real-life events.

Meme loves exploring her farm on Big Red, her trusty motorbike. With rolling green paddocks to discover, friendly farm animals to visit, and beautiful New Zealand countryside all around her, every ride promises something exciting. But one day, while exploring a part of the farm she has never visited before, Big Red suddenly disappears into a hidden swamp. Before Meme knows it, she is standing knee-deep in muddy water with Big Red completely stuck.

This time, there is no one nearby to help. Instead of giving up, Meme stays calm, thinks carefully, and comes up with a plan. With determination, courage, and a little help from Little Red, she proves that even when life doesn’t go as expected, problems can often be solved by believing in yourself and taking one step at a time.

More than just a fun farm adventure, Meme and Big Red’s Adventure provides meaningful opportunities for grandparents, parents, teachers, and caregivers to talk with young children about resilience, independence, problem-solving, and the confidence to keep trying when challenges arise. The story encourages children to think creatively, stay positive when plans change, and understand that while asking for help is important, there are also times when they can discover solutions through patience, determination, and their own resourcefulness.
