The bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear. MinorLoss of cloth color [biopredation] on the spine. Limited to 600 copies; 9.25 inches tall; 72 pages. Originally printed in the late 18th century. Ralph Willett, the author, was a plantation owner on St Kitts and bibliophile. Willett's library was rich in early-printed books and in specimens of block-printing. It has been characterized as the "finest library in Dorset." Many works were on vellum, and all were in the finest condition. He also collected prints and drawings. As the birthplace of printing, Willett argues for Mainz in Germany. Reprint of the 1820 Newcastle edition in facsimile.
