Memoirs of the French diplomat and historian who was deeply involved with Bonaprtists and their activities throughout the perior from revolution to the 1830 disolution of the monarchy. xiii+442pp. This would appear from book records to be the first of two or three volumes, however there is nothing to indicate this in the volume other than it ends around 1805 and contacts with Nelson. Rebound during the nineteenth century in quarter cream cloth witha a title plate to spine and blue paper to remainder of boards. Bouards and spine are heavily worn and the title plate is distressed.
