Original spiral bound b/w illustrated card wraps 22x28cm. (2), 121pp. Very good with some creasing. Dated May 1996, this was prepared by a Committee led by Barbara Beal, apparently composed of the families of mostly ex-pat Dubai Petroleum Company (DPC) staff. DPC had been established in 1963 as a subsidiary of Conoco Phillips to run the concession. Judy Rutherford, who wrote the brief opening statement to this work, was wife of the then DPC President Ronald Rutherford. The individually credited recipes are organised into Soups & Salads, Main Dish, Vegetables, Dessert, and Miscellaneous. The majority are either western (US, Australia, UK, France) or Indian, with a couple of contributions from Dubai, most notably Madroobah (p33). A very rare community work, with no other records or references found.

SHIPPING: Domestic and international shipping is tracked and insured with UPS. This has unfortunately meant an increase in domestic rates especially, and in most cases I am absorbing some of the increase. (I have moved away from Royal Mail owing to a series of problems).
