Memory Box: A replay of the mind

Obsession said it best, "My poetry will suck your soul until it bust all over your core" and that it does. Blunt and bold, Memory box takes you through the mind of Obsession, a survivor of things ranging from child to domestic abuse. If you are emotionally tender, easily offended, or easily appalled, then brace yourself, because this poetess spills her soul in hopes of freeing herself and others who has traveled a similar road, from the psychological prison pain and tragedy confines one to.

Growing up on the west side of Chicago, Obsession began writing at the age of 7. Winning countless awards in her youth, it was plain to see that she was indeed gifted. Upon graduation from Young Chicago Author's, she published two poetry books by the age of 17. Obsession is currently working on her third novel and fourth poetry book! She now resides on the north side of Chicago, where she teaches transitional kindergarten.
