The family all take part to build, color, and paint a toy Noah's Ark from the bible, and photos go into an album to remember and treasure.

About the Authors

Elizabeth Reed marks her second book and first children's book with The Memory Tree. She's been writing stories and poems since her freshman year in high school when her favorite English teacher, Mr. Sellers, set words on fire for her. The author lives in Washington DC, with her dog, Roy. Elizabeth's dream is to travel the country writing and exploring with her fur babies and grand babies.

Rose Grier Evans is an award-winning book illustrator and has been a professional artist for more than thirty years. She enjoyed working with the author, portraying her vision for The Memory Tree and filling the illustrations with meaningful details. When not working on art projects, Rose is an advocate for abused children or she is busy tending goats on the family farm. She lives in north central Florida with her husband and enjoys spending time with family and her two grandchildren.

Debbie Dulaney is making her book illustration debut with The Memory Tree. She had the ideas for the art that Rose Grier Evans drew. Debbie has been drawing herself since she was very young, and this project has been her love and her passion for the year it took to complete it. One can see her soft heart and bright mind reflected in these pages. Debbie lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and she dedicates this book to her children and grandchildren.
