Memory assessment using online brain exercises: New tool to improve cognition

The author is a biomedical graduate from UNIRIO, where he carried out this study on the effect of online brain exercise platforms on the short- and long-term memory of the population of Rio de Janeiro. Their main results showed that one of the platforms can serve as an important tool for improving the memory of university students, promoting neuroplasticity through important molecular modifications. In addition, the authors identified a significant susceptibility of the population to the effects of ageing, such as memory loss. The study concluded that implementing campaigns to encourage cognitive training could be important for improving the population's quality of life and possibly even preventing the progression of cognitive decline.
