About the Author

Dr. Moore currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama. I hold a family child care CDA, a BS degree in early childhood education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a MS in Education degree and a PhD in Early Childhood Education from Walden University. My dissertation was on Male Early Childhood Teachers and the Sociological Factors Impacting Their Retention. He has written an early childhood curriculum supplement, The Thinking Book Curriculum for Early Childhood Professionals. He is currently the Child Care Services Division Director for the Alabama Department of Human Resources.
