When Wren Byrne entered the interrogation room with her partner, she never expected to be teaming up with her detainee, Lily Zuo, to save the world of magic. With Absalom Peres and Ricky Lee by their sides, the pair was able to collect the pieces of the ancient relic known as Statera, a magical staff that represented and balanced the known magics of the world.

Now, the Guardians of Statera have a new mission: expand the number of magical pieces and reassemble the staff. They are joined by Karina Hasanov and her protector, Javier Moreno, in the quest to balance the power of the universe once again.

However, as they cross the globe once more, collecting new pieces to increase the power of the staff, Galiena Lear, a leader of Arsa, is hot on their heels. She longs to claim the power of Statera for herself and dominate the magical world in the process.

E.R. Munley has been crafting stories since she was able to tell them. An avid reader and advocate, she has been working for over a decade to build young readers as a high school English teacher in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. All things considered, becoming a published author herself was almost inevitable.Having grown up in the Baltimore Metro Area, she is an avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens, no matter the number of heart attacks or heartbreaks. When she isn't writing, she enjoys traveling with her husband (though she is a devoted indoor cat) or snuggling up with her dogs.

Ruth Sanger is a native of Delaware, the state not the county. Writing has always been a passion project of hers in between teaching music and performing in community theater. Living in China for four years gave her a unique perspective on life and she tries to express that in her writing style. You can usually find her singing a song and a book in hand!
