Mercy Beyond All Understanding

Mercy Beyond All Understanding by Dr. Billy R. Newman is a stunning defense of Divine Mercy as it manifests itself in one of the Bible's most outstanding personalities; David. Newman introduces a new style to speak about the one attribute of God that is most often neglected by humanity; His mercy. It is a drama that succinctly presents the trail of King David after his sin with Bathsheba. Will David be acquitted through mercy's defense or will he be condemned according to the Mosaic Law? Mercy Beyond All Understanding by Dr. Billy R. Newman is a brilliant work filled with drama, insight, and new ideas. With mastery of the sacred scriptures, the author sets out to help readers get a deeper understanding of God's incomprehensible mercy. Mercy Beyond All Understanding is one of those books most relevant to reader's in this turbulent age, an age riddled with numerous atrocities committed in the name of God and many misconceptions about God's justice. Beside showing God's mercy at work, this book is for anyone who has despaired of God's love, mercy, and presence in their lives. It's one of those books that will usher readers back to the path of reconciliation with God and with their fellow humans. Reading this book made me feel like God was on my side and on the side of fallen man; yes, the author has the uncanny gift of bringing back hope where there is despair and letting readers feel more confident that God's love is really eternal. It's one of those books that points to the very heart of the Divine.--Reviewed by Romuald Dzemo
