Mergers: Combining Churches to Multiply Disciples

Sometimes one church is better than two. The missionary landscape of the North American culture necessitates churches, young and old alike, rethink how they can, and should, align to strategically engage in God’s mission in their cities. Using the real life example of two churches in Greenville, South Carolina, Mergers provides a description of the rationale, biblical basis, and process by which two churches can unite to more effectively declare and demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Matt Rogers is the pastor of The Church at Cherrydale in Greenville, South Carolina. He and his wife, Sarah, have three daughters, Corrie, Avery, and Willa and a son, Hudson.
