The Mermaid and the River Otter: A Fable (The Fable Triad)

What would bring a platypus, an iguana, and a flamboyant flock of flamingoes to The Tidal Realm's counselors for advice?
Escape from your daily routine and travel to a coastal estuary where the semi-aquatic creatures of the world's supercontinent look to wise counselors, Corinna the mermaid and Tonino the river otter. Listen in as the counselors provide guidance concerning self-love, sharing, gossiping, compassion, and more. The lessons represented in this unusual story are age-old, yet still timely for every culture.

Though each of the fables are separate tales with separate characters, they're meant to embody the same global time frame and can be read in any order. They begin almost identically, much like Kipling's Just So Stories, in order to set the tone and rhythm as complementary to the other two. But—worry not! Each fable offers its own unique account without following the same pattern throughout.
