Withdrawn from an institutional library with remnants of labels affixed to front free and endpapers, and stamped in red at the bottom edge of an early page. The first and last few pages are age-tanned with a degree of brittleness. The body of the book is printed on better paper that is brighter and in better condition. Originally issued as wrappers, it has been cut and bound in full leather with five bands on the spine. The classic 1631 story is republished and handsomely reprinted with numerous woodcut prints.
