"This is an exceptional book on missions, related by a veteran missionary. Mike covers important subjects like the call and preparation for missions. He also covers how to deal with unexpected difficulties and gaining acceptance in a different culture, along with numerous other subjects. I believe it is one of the most complete books on missions that I have ever read. I think it can be of great value to those already on the mission field and a must read for all those planning to go." Dr. Neal Weaver, President of Louisiana Baptist University"In Mike’s book, you will read a personal account of how God worked in the life of a person with very little hope of amounting to much. You’ll see how the Lord brought him to a place where he has been fully engaged with living out the Great Commission and creating disciples. You will be hard-pressed to find many that have such a passion to see people birthed into God’s family." Dr. Johnny Hunt, First Baptist Church, Woodstock, GeorgiaMike Napper went from living on the streets, to becoming a respected policeman, a wealthy businessman, and now a successful missionary serving in northwest Africa. Mike and his wife have three daughters, one son and two granddaughters. He holds a PhD in leadership and has a passion to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Before becoming a missionary Mike grew up in the welfare system, foster care, living in Salvation Army shelters, even eating out of trash cans. He had succumbed to a life of hopeless tragedy until he said “yes” to Jesus. The apostle Peter said “yes” and saw a blind man see, a crippled man walk, and a dead man come to life. Mike knows from firsthand experience when Jesus calls us, we can expect amazing life-changing experiences to take place.
