Anna Claybourne is an award-winning science writer, and has written many books for Usborne Publishing, A&C Black and Franklin Watts. She writes mainly non-fiction, covering topics such as science, art, wildlife and fashion, but has also published books about Shakespeare, myths and legends and retellings of literary classics. She is based in Edinburgh.
Shanarama is a writer and illustrator of Children's Books, who was born and bred in London, and is a self-confessed 'Childrens Book'-oholic! She has a background in Architecture and Film Set Design, which has greatly informed her storytelling abilities. In 2018 she was Runner-up in the Stratford Literary Festival Children's Book Competition. Shanarama works across a variety of genres and enjoys working with both traditional and digital tools, often combining pencil and graphite artwork with a sprinkling of digital magic.
When not cooking up stories and illustrations, Shanarama can be found sketching and exploring the urban jungle: watching movies, weaving through galleries, and hanging out with her family and friends.
