About the Author James R, Marquiss was born on September 27th, 1959 in Melbourne Florida. He was the third of four sons. And with three younger sisters, he enjoyed a very blessed childhood. With too many memories to list here, some of his fondest ones include going to the beach with his Mom and going to the gun range with his Dad. He made many friends as he grew, yet the best friends that he had were his two brothers. His early interests in life were music, sports, and his 1955 Chevy. All three are still at the top of his list. Today, Jim is married to the love of his life, the former Rayma Lee Reder, and together they live in the Tampa Bay area. Jim has a grow son, Jimmy, who also calls the Bay area home. Jim is an avid golfer and bowler, as well as a champion scrabble player. He enjoys music and has personally recorded his own c.d. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of thirty-five, Jim has learned about perseverance and strength while fighting the disease. Jim was born again in 1984 and believes very strongly in the power of God and the power available to all that believe through the help of God's Holy Spirit.
