Who was Paul the apostle, and why should we care about him? Why did Jesus call the thirteenth apostle? He was a chosen man for a chosen mission at a chosen time . . . Saul to Paul. You will get true insight into the changed heart of a simple man. Paul found that answering the call was not easy-it was imperative! This story takes the reader from the Damascus road to the prison in Rome. You will fall in love with the heart of Paul as you discover the personal story of the man who is credited with writing half of the New Testament. Galatians 1:11-12: "But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man, for I neither received it from man, nor was taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 5:3: "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." Romans 3:20: "Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight." 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
