The Message of Life: Devotions on the First Letter of St. John

The first letter of St. John is an easy book to read. That is, if all you wish is to scratch the surface! After all, John's vocabulary is limited and simple. However, the simple and limited vocabulary hides profound depths of ideas, which can often get lost because we are often convinced that simple vocabulary and simple ideas go hand in hand. In this series of devotions Deepak treats the text of 1 John seriously to uncover depths of meanings that are never reached with conventional superficial readings of the text.
