Messiah's Proper Deity, Argued from Scripture; Also, His Atonement; and the Divinity of the Holy Spirit: With Strictures on the Way of a Sinner's Acceptance With God, and on Some Unitarian

"Messiah's Proper Deity, Argued From Scripture; Also, His Atonement; And The Divinity Of The Holy Spirit: With Strictures On The Way Of A Sinner's Acceptance With God, And On Some Unitarian Publications" by Niel Douglas is a theological tract from 1807 that presents a comprehensive defense of the full divinity of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. This work argues against Unitarian and anti-Trinitarian positions by surveying evidence from both the Old and New Testaments, demonstrating that the Son and the Spirit are truly God alongside the Father. It addresses key topics such as atonement, justification, resurrection, and the nature of salvation, featuring extensive sections titled PROOFS, EXTRACTS, and other doctrinal discussions. The author aims to equip Christians with scriptural foundations to defend orthodox Christology and encourages separation from unorthodox associations when essential truths are denied.
