Then I Met You (Paperback or Softback)

As the leaves in Montreal turn, so does Vicki's life, when a single father's sweet proposal offers a taste of a vibrant future, if only she can frost over the bitterness of her past.

Vicki had dreams, aspirations, and the drive to become an artist. But somewhere along the line, those dreams faded away, leaving behind a void she struggled to fill. The once vibrant city of Montreal, bathed in the hues of late fall, now seemed as colorless as her passionless life.

Enter Alex. A single father with a budding wedding cake business and a heart just waiting to find the right companion. When he approaches Vicki to lend her creative flair to his venture, the two form a bond that quickly deepens, filling the emptiness Vicki felt for so long.

But just as their relationship seems poised to take the next step, a ghost from Vicki's past returns and threatens to derail everything she's built with Alex.

Montreal, with its early 2000s charm, sets the backdrop for this touching tale of love, self-worth, and the power of personal transformation. Vicki learns the most crucial lesson of all: sometimes, to truly move forward, one must let go of the past.
