My Method Including American Impressions (Paperback or Softback)

"My Method Including American Impressions" is an influential guide to the principles of conscious autosuggestion, written by the pioneering French psychologist and pharmacist Émile Coué. This work provides a comprehensive overview of Coué's world-renowned system for self-improvement and healing, which centers on the belief that individuals can improve their mental and physical health by influencing their subconscious minds through repetitive, positive affirmations.

In this volume, Coué elucidates the practical application of his famous mantra, "Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better," and explains the psychological mechanics behind why such simple suggestions can produce profound results. The text distinguishes itself by detailing the difference between the will and the imagination, arguing that when the two are in conflict, the imagination invariably prevails. By learning to direct the imagination, Coué asserts that anyone can overcome various ailments and psychological barriers.

The "American Impressions" section offers a fascinating look at the author's observations and experiences during his travels in the United States, providing context on how his methods were received and practiced in a different cultural landscape. "My Method Including American Impressions" remains a cornerstone of early 20th-century psychological literature and a foundational text for the modern self-help movement.
