Instruction booklet on skirmishing tactics on the Western Front issued to U.S. Army officers during World War I. Tan front wrap with black title; discolored light green rear wrap. Moderately edgeworn, chipped, soiled, and rubbed with two edge tears. Binding firm. Pages toned and unmarked with black and white illustrations. Previous owner's name written at upper edge of front wrap: "Howard Cauklein, B/167".
