Methodism and the Future of Christianity: Facing the Challenge

In spite of discouraging statistics, many people in their twenties and thirties do go to church. It will be their job to shape British Christianity's future, whichever branch of Christianity they are in. But what keeps such people in church? What do they believe are the strengths and weaknesses of their church, and most importantly, what do they see as the future?
In Methodism and the Future youthful voices critically examine their own tradition from a contemporary perspective. All the contributors to this volume are under 40 and their chapters form a snapshot of one particular type of British Christianity.
Throughout the book, the focus is on what Methodism is about and what it contributes to British Christianity, whatever its own institutional future might be.
