The cover has green cloth. 200 pages; 8 chapters; 236 b/w figures; index. About half of the cloth has faded, bumpy spots. 3 3/4 in. of the top edge of the back board has been chipped or gnawed to a depth of 1/8 in., with another 1/8 in. missing below that. The boards' edges have two other threadbare spots, 1/2 in. and 1 in. The spine strip is chipped on the top edge and frayed on the bottom edge. The text block ends have darkened and a have a few stains, up to 1/8 in. The front endpaper has an owner's name and a few chips, up to a linear 1 1/2 in. The backpastedown has a wrinkle line left by the binder and a 5 in. x 3 in. stain that has also caused the FEP to darken. The bottom margins of the last 34 pages have a stain(s), 1/4 in. to 3 in. (on the last 3 blank pages. Other stains are sparse and tiny or light. Scans e-mailed upon request.
