Readers gain practical knowledge of IT project management workflows, at scale, while building technical knowledge and skills required to pass the PMP. An appendix presents practice study questions and advice on preparing for and passing the PMP exam. The revised third edition includes expanded coverage of agile system development methodologies, leadership and negotiation skills, and process maturity models.

About the Author
Jeffrey L. Brewer is a certified Project Management Professional and an associate professor of Computer and Information Technology (CIT) at Purdue University. His teaching and research focus on systems analysis and design, computer-aided software engineering (CASE), agile development, and telecare/telemedicine. Brewer has nearly twenty years of professional experience in industries ranging from specialty retail to manufacturing. Most recently Brewer served as IT director for the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists in Chicago.
