Very rare second edition printed in the Netherlands of a work on medicines prescriptions by Pierre Morel. It is divided into two sections, the first dealing with different types of medicines and when to prescribe them, distinguishing between medicines with more general effects and some very specific medicines. Also included is a recipe for toothpaste. The second half is a materia medica. The present work was edited by the Dutch physician and anatomist Gerardus Blasius (1627-1682).Slightly browned around the margins, a few spots. Binding rubbed along the extremities. Very good copyl Krivatsy 8086; STCN (1 copy). Contemporary vellum, manuscript author on spine.
