Inscribed with Inspector s Office Woolwich , and PS Davies on the first endpaper. Stamped on first pastedown. Stamped with checked on the second endpaper. Original binding, black half leather with grey cloth boards. In good condition with a partial crack in the hinges at the second endpaper, rubbing and wear to edges and corners. Spine comprises six compartments, the second and third with title and edition and year respectively. Spine worn on raised bands, with a tear at the top and rubbing to the base. A sheet accompanying the book, E Davies, Det Sergeant, 6.11.43.
