Matthew Silverman is the author of Mets Essential, the coauthor of Mets by the Numbers, the editor of Baseball: The Biographical Encyclopedia, and the coeditor of Meet the Meets and Total Mets. He also worked as the associated editor of The 2008 ESPN Baseball Encyclopedia and the managing editor of The 2007 ESPN Pro Football Encyclopedia, Total Football, and Total Baseball. He lives in High Falls, New York.
