Mett Haar Rising

On the Eastern Continent, where the borders of Varsh, Cherik and Kirpan meet, an important chapter in planet Craitch's history is about to be recorded. The armies of Varsh and Kirpan stand opposed, their nations' security placed in jeopardy by the selfishness and scheming of manipulative men. Tensions escalate and the prospect of war looms. Yet, few are aware of the covetous and malevolent race of intruders who are watching and planning their next move.

Brother Mar, a monk of the Barle Order, arrives in Varsh's capital, Rnok. He comes in search of a friend, but instead meets a boy who carries an important message for him. Mar remains unconvinced when the boy tells him he must play a part in fulfilling a prophecy of an ancient and outlawed religion. From here, he embarks upon an odyssey that brings him face-to-face with monsters, madmen and his own doubts and fears. Each step of the way takes him closer to the fulfilment of his destiny... and the girl who, some say, will eventually change their world.

Mett Haar Rising is an absorbing, briskly paced tale of prophecy that takes its reader to a distant yet familiar world governed by two religious Orders. Now, a third ancient and outlawed religion is about to re-emerge.

This story of friendship, passion, treachery, war, greed and manipulation ventures across and beyond the limits of the traditional Sci-Fi genre. But reader beware! This literary reflection of man's finest and worst attributes is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
