According to some reference books the 1st US Whitman edition is dated 1936 and has 71pp. This has an inscription on the front endpaper dated 25.11.35. Colour frontispiece, illustrated endpapers + text ills in b/w, colour pictorial boards (back and front) of Mickey tied up in Pigmy Land, edges worn, white paper spine with title on cloth chipped on edges and lightly on folds, thick pages browning slightly, lower inside edge of some pages worn, some insect tunnelling on lower margin, 2 pages have short edge tears, top corner of one page torn off, else a vg copy of a scarce book. 4to, 92pp. Seller Inventory # 00B92
